I was watching a comedian on Youtube last night, and he was talking about how quickly the news cycle changes these days.
He was reminiscing about how we used to have a 48 hour or a 36 hour news cycle… then we had 24… and now it’s 12, 6, or even 4 hours between the “biggest story in the world” changing again.
It’s awfully hard to keep up.
I got a practical lesson in this just this morning. Last night, I came down with a bout of food poisoning (I’m mostly better now, just exhausted)…
By the time I was up and checking the internet again, there was suddenly a trade deal with the United Kingdom AND a new Pope.
As I’m writing this, we don’t know who the new Pope IS, but we will soon.
The world moves fast these days.
No wonder it can feel hard to keep up with the markets.
It feels like you’re always one step behind…
But there’s good news: Nate’s found a brilliant new trader with a one-of-a-kind strategy that might help change all that.
And you’re going to start to hear details very soon: stay tuned!
For now, I’m going to go take a nap. My stomach is fine, but…
UPDATE: I wrote the above newsletter just before 1pm Eastern time. And wouldn’t you know it — almost as if to prove my point — within 90 minutes a new pope had already been announced and made an appearance in St. Peter’s Square…
And by the time you’re reading this, the new pope is already old news. Time, and the news cycle, wait for no one.
To your prosperity,
