Tom Busby, affectionately known as TBUZ, knows how to put on a workshop.
Here in Jacksonville, we’ve just wrapped up the annual two-day DTI “Sawgrass” conference,
the flagship educational workshop put on by TBUZ and his team every year.
If you’ve never been, you should add it to your trading bucket list.
Because Tom and his team are some of the best trainers and educators I’ve ever seen.
And every year, when we have one of these conferences, the students walk away with an entirely new perspective on trading.
If you’ve ever followed Tom at all, you know he’s a wizard at market timing.
But his approach is incredibly simple: just follow the numbers.
Let the markets tell you what you need to know and listen to them. Don’t try to get too complicated. Don’t try to do anything magic.
Just follow the numbers.
And that’s exactly what he, Geof Smith, and the rest of the DTI team taught his students to do over two days of LIVE trading and education.
While I’ve attended these conferences in the past, this year, I was only able to make the after-hours social events and catch up with some of the students there.
And I can tell you: the energy was different this year.
They are always a great event, but pretty much every single person I spoke to said this year’s class was the best they’d ever attended.
Some who had already purchased lifetime access to the Sawgrass conference were even asking if they could still pay to attend next year’s as a thank you for the life-changing education 🤯 (yes, they wanted to double pay!)
The face-to-face, in-person trading education experience TBUZ puts on is one-of-a-kind, and it shows in the students’ experience.
That must be why we see the same students year after year, making the trip to sunny Ponte Vedra for their next splash of TBUZ.
It’s a real reminder to me of just how important it is to invest in education.
Trading isn’t supposed to be “easy.” But it can be life-changing if you know how to do it properly.
Studying under the right teacher and learning in the right environment can be a huge step forward.
