American Dream Deferred

by | Jul 7, 2025

I was scanning Twitter this morning (as I often do to find the latest breaking market news — and, yes, I refuse to call it “X”)

And I saw some disturbing new pieces of economic news that, sadly, have become far too common in recent years.

That last one hits especially close to home for me and I’m sure many of you out there.

The truth is, I believe that the American Dream is still attainable, but it’s becoming increasingly harder to afford.

And that’s why it’s more important than ever to take matters into your own hands, to build something for yourself that society clearly isn’t going to hand you anymore.

I firmly believe that a good, long career of honest, hard work should be enough to let folks retire in comfort — but those days might be behind us.

Still, you can make it and build something for yourself.

It’s not a narrow path or an unlikely outcome. It’s very achievable. You just have to commit to putting in the work.

In one of the most famous sentences in American poetry, Langston Hughes asked: “What happens to a dream deferred?”

Of course, Hughes was writing in 1951 about the battle for African American Civil Rights. Our struggles today, no matter how steep the hill we have to climb, pale in comparison…

But Hughes’s poem still sends a powerful message to dreamers everywhere.

He wasn’t giving up. He wasn’t throwing in the towel.

He was putting his foot in the ground and declaring that his dream wouldn’t be deferred forever; that he WOULD do what it takes to make it a reality.

We can follow that example today by building our own American Dream even when it seems difficult, hard, or unattainable.

That’s what our team all across our company is committed to helping you do.

I’m glad you’re here with us.

To your prosperity,

P.S. If you want to start building your piece of the pie, there may be no better way than Nate Tucci’s Income Machine.

In fact, one reader just wrote in to say this about it:

“I have now just closed out my 47th successful, profitable, aggressive trade from the Income Machine. I trade them in early, and use the machine for the idea generation.”

You can try it completely free for 30 daysno credit card required. Might be worth a look!
