I’ll admit it…
I was skeptical about Meta Platforms (META) a year or two ago. I bought the stock after the tariff dump because I liked how aggressively the company was spending to get ahead in AI.
But when Meta had little to show for that investment, I took some profits and watched the stock enter what felt like a frustrating downward spiral.
Now something has changed. And it’s not just the technical setup — it’s the product itself.
Meta recently announced its new AI agent, Muse. While I haven’t used it personally yet, my wife has been all over it. When she picks up on something like this, it often signals that a technology is moving beyond early adopters and gaining broader appeal.
I’ve used ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. What makes Muse different is that it acts more like a personal assistant than another chatbot or research tool.
This Isn’t Just Another Chatbot
My wife is ordering groceries through it, booking flights and even used Muse to register our kids for a trick-or-treat event. It’s like having an assistant in your pocket that can complete tasks rather than simply explain how to do them.
A buddy also asked Muse to lower his T-Mobile bill. A couple of days later, it notified him that it had successfully reduced the bill by $10 a month. Think about that — the AI negotiated a recurring expense on his behalf.
There’s a massive difference between an AI that provides flight information and one that books the flight. It’s one thing to ask when the next flight from Jacksonville to Indianapolis departs. It’s another to say, “Find the best flight on this date at the lowest price and book it for me” — then receive confirmation that it’s done.
That’s not an incremental improvement. It’s a fundamental shift in utility.
The Distribution Advantage and Potential Catalyst
Meta also has an advantage few competitors can match: distribution. Through Facebook and Instagram, it already has billions of users and a huge marketplace where Muse could be introduced quickly. This isn’t a startup trying to build an audience from scratch.
That’s why I’ve started viewing META as a possible catch-up trade. AI companies such as Anthropic have attracted enormous private-market valuations, while Meta is a much larger, established business with existing platforms, revenue and global reach.
If Muse helps Meta close the gap with ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude, it could become a meaningful catalyst for META.
I’m not saying it’s a sure thing. But seeing people use Muse for groceries, travel, event registration and bill negotiations suggests Meta’s AI spending may finally be producing something consumers genuinely value.
That changes how I’m thinking about META — and it makes the stock worth watching closely.

P.S. My Most Consistent Daily Trade…
I’ve been exploiting a weird anomaly happening nearly every afternoon on the NDX…
It’s opened a small two-hour window for anyone to target around $200* by the closing bell.

We develop tools and strategies to the best of our ability but no one can guarantee the future. There is always a risk of loss when trading. From May 2022 to July 2026 the backtested win rate was 90% with an average return net of winners and losers of 10% daily on risk. The method has been traded live since July 15th, 2026 and through the first 10 weeks of the beta testing, it’s hit with a 93.3% win rate on LIVE trades.
