Some days, the metals line up and march together like clockwork.
Gold catches a bid, copper follows along and silver tags right behind. It’s tidy, predictable and easy to trade.
Then there are days like this — where nothing makes sense and you have to take a step back.
The Disconnect That’s Got My Attention
Gold’s been climbing a bit. Copper’s been moving up.
Both are doing what you’d expect when industrial and safe-haven metals get bought.
But silver? Silver’s pulling back hard.
That’s just flat-out weird. These three usually run together — or at least in the same general direction.
When they don’t, it tells you something’s out of sync under the hood.
Part of the problem is that geopolitics is driving the bus right now. Tensions involving Iran are the biggest force moving markets, with the war in Ukraine adding another layer of uncertainty.
Those headlines can ripple far beyond metals. Even grain markets have sold off in response to the same news.
That kind of cross-market reaction tells me this isn’t a normal, clean commodities setup.
When headlines can reverse sentiment in a hurry, smaller positions, more patience and clearly defined price levels matter more than trying to predict the next move.
Silver did bounce back a little this morning, so maybe we’re seeing some stabilization. But until it proves itself, I’m not buying the story.
The Line That Matters
Here’s where I draw the line: $56.
Silver needs to get back above $56 before I’ll start feeling better about it. That’s the level where the chart structure holds and where I can trust the metal to act right again.
Below that? It’s just noise, and I’m not interested in guessing which way the wind blows next.
I don’t need to be a hero here. I don’t need to catch the bottom or predict the turn.
I just need a clean signal. If silver reclaims $56, then we can talk about getting involved.
Until then, I’m watching from the sidelines while gold and copper do their thing.
That doesn’t mean the long-term silver story is broken. A long-term buy-and-hold position has years to work through short-term volatility, geopolitical shocks and temporary disconnects.
But that’s a different strategy from trading the current setup.
Long-term positions need sensible sizing and patience, while short-term trades need confirmation and discipline.
Sometimes the best trade is the one you don’t make until the setup is actually there.

P.S. I Can’t Believe Traders Are Missing This Opportunity
Have you been trading Silver with me over the last year?
If you have, you’d be sitting on 20 different payouts with zero losses so far.

Now, if you had no idea we’ve been taking silver to the cleaners all these months…
Don’t panic…
Because the new opportunity standing in front of us could be bigger and better than anything I’ve ever seen before…
That’s because there’s a very unique setup happening with the precious metals (gold, silver, platinum, etc) right now…
And if we play it right…
Not only could we see the lion’s share of gains over the coming two years…
But at the same time, we can leverage this window to target a stream of payouts, over and over again…
Shooting for right around $600* on each one, based on the same strategy that’s paid out with 100% historical accuracy so far.
Sometimes multiple in the same week.
Of course, I can’t make guarantees on the market.
But if you’d like to join in as we go after the very next opportunity as it opens up…
