Look, I try not to be the guy yelling “conspiracy” every time a number comes out.
But this last jobs report? Something’s off.
This morning we got the Non-Farm Payrolls report.
And somehow… we already have the final July jobs numbers — on the first day of August.
That doesn’t sit right with me.
I mean, yesterday was July 31st. Today is August 1st.
And they’re telling us they tallied up every job in the country between midnight and when the report was released this morning?
Come on.
I’m not saying there weren’t jobs created — there are still job openings out there.
But it’s hard to believe they pulled together an accurate, complete report overnight. Especially when you know these numbers get revised later anyway.
So yeah, I’m taking this one with a grain of salt.
My guess is whatever number they gave us today gets revised in the next month or two — maybe in a big way.
