Time to trade

Hey y’all,

The election is finally over!

Whether your candidate won or lost, I think we are all happy that it’s done, and I think it’s important for everyone’s sanity and the country’s health that there was a clear winner early in the process.

Now, we can put politics behind us (at least momentarily) and focus on the opportunities in the market!

And early returns suggest that they will be abundant.

The big winner last night was crypto!

As it became more obvious that Trump was going to win, Bitcoin accelerated higher and eventually hit All-Time Highs overnight.

I’m not a Bitcoin expert by any means, but Trump’s campaign was exceedingly friendly towards the crypto community, and it’s responding in kind.

In a correction from yesterday’s newsletter, which I wrote earlier in the morning (oops!), stocks did not stay flat and started to rise higher into the afternoon and through the close.

That trend looks to be continuing into the morning. If Tom Busby’s research about the White House Wave is correct, that suggests we’ll see a bullish continuation for the next 10-14 days.

I think there’s a strong likelihood that that’s true.

One sector that might NOT be feeling the love is healthcare.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s decision to drop out of the race and endorse Trump paid off in a big way politically, and now he’s likely to have an important role in the administration — perhaps even as head of the FDA or the Department of Agriculture.

With his campaign to “Make America Healthy Again,” his policies are going to directly impact pharmaceutical and consumer products companies. Keep a close eye on LLY, MRK, and even KHC to see whether those impacts will be felt on the stock in the short term.

That’s an overview of what I expect to be the immediate fallout of a decisive Trump victory. Of course, if you want to hear from the real experts, they’ll be LIVE at 12pm ET on Nate’s Publisher’s Roundtable. Check it out here.

To your prosperity,
