In today’s edition of Market Radar, I tackle the latest tariff battle heating up between the U.S. and China, including how it’s shaking up everything from tech stocks to commodities.

We also take a deep dive into gold, oil, and beef prices, discussing why these markets aren’t reacting the way you might expect. Plus, I share my thoughts on whether the recent market drop was an overreactionor the beginning of a market shift.

Hit play to get caught up on what’s driving the markets right now and what I’ll be watching next.

Resources Mentioned in Today’s Market Radar

Here are some of the tools and links I referenced in today’s session to help you dive deeper into market trends:

📌 Barchart.com or Investing.com – If you don’t have time to watch the markets minute by minute, these websites are great for checking key levels like yearly and monthly opens for major indices. You can write these levels down and keep them somewhere on a sticky note or something. That way when you hear on the TV or radio “the S&P is now at _____”, you can get a better sense of market direction without the need to stare at charts all day.

📌 The “Thirds Page” in Roadmap Software – This one’s a feature of Tom Busby’s proprietary Roadmap software. This tool divides market price action into thirds, helping traders step back and see the big picture instead of getting caught in short-term fluctuations. Understanding these broader movements can help traders avoid knee-jerk reactions and focus on meaningful trends.
