It’s one day before the Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision that everyone is waiting for…
So let’s jump into my “Final Hour” live trading session up top!
I’m going live at 3 p.m. ET on weekdays (except Wednesday), so be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel to be notified.
I’m looking at a ratio spread trade in Walmart (WMT) that I covered at the beginning, followed by my current read of the markets, and even more trade ideas as the session went on.
And don’t worry… I’m pricing these trades out to Oct. 4 to give them some time to move.
We had a nice pop on the open after Retail Sales came out stronger than expected this morning, but the pop didn’t last as the S&P 500 touched the all-time record high before retreating ahead of the Fed.
Will the market continue this push lower, putting in a bit of a top today?
Probabilities still say the Fed is likely to cut 0.5% tomorrow, with a gap until November and then a 0.25% cut, followed by a final 0.5% cut likely for December. That would be a full 1.25% shaved off this year.
I didn’t believe even a week ago that it would be a 50-point cut, but here we are. If it’s less than that, the market will likely sell off on that news.
I’m going to focus on price action rather than what Fed Chair Jerome Powell will say. Though, I am curious about how they can justify a 50-point cut right now.
I have a couple more trades to discuss in today’s Final Hour market wrap-up, as well as live analysis of the major indices, Bitcoin, gold and more!

P.S. Check Out This 9:35 Profit Window
What do you usually do between 9:35 and 11 a.m. ET?
Catch up on emails? Attend a meeting? Maybe grab a coffee?
For me, it’s the most important part of my trading day.
85 minutes. That’s usually all it takes.
Set up at 9:35 a.m., check back at 11…
And when things work out, there’s an extra $100 to $150 in my account (on a $1,000 starting stake).
Sounds too simple, doesn’t it?
Here’s the truth… The market has a rhythm, a subtle pattern that shows up day after day.
Most miss it because they’re too busy predicting where the market will end up by the closing bell.
But in those 85 minutes? That’s where the real opportunity lies.
